CIE – EduHub and Outreach
The EduHub is the publicly-accessible educational arm of the CIE– Institute and HeritageLab activities. It is a curated digital archive featuring accessible, scholarly articles. These original contributions—from the CIE team and a global network of specialists—address pressing debates in heritage studies and art history. The articles and guides that comprise EduHub provide scholars, students, and teachers with pedagogical tools that enable a smooth introduction to central topics in the field of heritage studies. EduHub equips learners, educators, and professionals with pedagogical resources designed to foster deeper understanding and critical engagement. Articles examine key themes including community narratives, colonial imprints and their counter-narratives, material culture, museology, and heritage documentation.
EduHub is an ever growing open-access archive: in 2024, we added 8 original articles to the repository and are actively reviewing and soliciting further contributions from our partners.
By providing accessible, context-specific educational tools, Edu Hub supports the development of skills and knowledge that empower individuals, communities, and professionals to engage with their heritage in meaningful and
sustainable ways
If you have any comments or would like to contribute an article to the EduHub archive, please get in touch with the project Editor and Lead Writer, Dr. Alia Soliman
